What you will learn

I started this course after years of watching brilliant people burn out from constantly armoring up; I wanted a gentle path back to ease and strength. As a beginner, you’ll get simple, doable practices that fit into busy days, short lessons, grounding exercises, and scripts for setting kind boundaries, so you feel calmer and more confident right away. I designed every step with care: science-informed, trauma-sensitive, and tested in real sessions, so nothing feels abstract or fluffy. The curriculum is cleanly organized into weekly arcs with clear goals, checklists, and reflection prompts, making it easy to track progress and celebrate quick wins. You’ll move at your own pace, stack small habits that actually stick, and finish each week feeling lighter, clearer, and more resourced.

I’m Vanessa Talley, your guide for RECLAIMING SOFTNESS™.
For years, I’ve supported individuals and groups in slowing down, turning inward, and building steady, sustainable resilience. My work lives at the intersection of education, facilitation, and wellbeing, where I integrate practical tools with warmth, clarity, and intention.

This course is deeply personal to me. Reclaiming softness transformed how I show up, for myself, my students, and my community. It shifted my relationship with rest, boundaries, and self-trust in a way that feels both grounding and liberating.

I teach this work because I believe gentleness is not weakness, it is a practice. Boundaries are a skill. Rest is essential. And these are all things we can learn and strengthen together.

My intention is to create a grounded, welcoming space where you can exhale, reconnect with yourself, and begin moving through life with greater ease, clarity, and a deeper sense of inner steadiness.
